190hp Long rod Pinto 2000, with Fast Forward aluminum cylinder head, TWM intake with twin Weber 45 carbs. Built by Quicksilver Racing Engines. Hewland LD200 4 speed dog box transaxle, gear ratios perfect for Mosport, and I can also include a Hewland wide gear upgrade kit for more strength/durability.
The car was just gone through for the off-season and is ready to race. It just got an upgraded data system and dash with an AIM MXL Strada, with an integrated smarty cam.
6 point Racequip harnesses, valid until 2027.
In cockpit adjustable front sway bar, and brake bias adjustment. Fire system upgraded in 2023. Penske triple adjustable shocks with hyperco coils. Radio harness with IMSA style connector, push to talk button on steering wheel and external antenna installed (does not come with radio).
The chassis tubes have been widened, and roll bar extended for bigger drivers, I am 6'2 and raced at 215lb and able to fit low/well enough have head low and safe enough.
Comes with 3 sets of OZ mag wheels, great condition Hoosier FC spec wets and used FC spec Hoosier R60 slicks, one set with 6 heat cycles, other set very worn.
The engine is an older rebuild but runs very strong and had ran detuned and lowered max RPM during my 3 years with the car. Before me it had ran 1 regional race weekend, then I have ran it for a season of time attack (relatively low run time), 7 regional race weekends and then some various track days. It was built for the previous owner to be a very strong, and long running, lower maintenance motor. I have added an oil cooler to help better protect the engine. I have also added a zetec style alternator so the car will charge itself while driving and minimize the need for additional battery/ charger/jump pack or crew members to start and run the car. Very fast and fun. I have done race pace laps at 1:22.0 at mosport, on the harder compound slicks and engine detuned. This car won't the 2023 CASC Formula Libre champion.
For $34000 I can include my v nose 14x7 tandem axle trailer that I ran the car with, has small workbench, toolbox and winch and wall mounted tire rack. It is a barn door and just needs ramps.
