Panoz GTS         À vendre Offre de particulier / Par Le Propriétaire

Petersburg, ON

Fresh off of VARAC GP CL-A class win June 16
For the race victory above we used year old 3 heat cycle tires that used at Sonoma in California last year (2nd place NASA Super Unlimited), we did not have to use brand new rubber mounted by Braiden (great service!)
2021 VARAC CL-A champion
Consistent podium finishes under current ownership, every year
3rd owner, owned since 2016, rebuilt/optimized & 1st raced in 2018
Prepared/optimized/maintained by current & former successful racing professionals, expense was not a constraint
All current Panoz updates + much more
Chassis #50 of approx. 54 GTS models built (per Panoz)
SB Ford Windsor engine, hydraulic roller camshaft, carbureted, runs on 91-94 pump gas octane, <10 hours on engine
2 race session old Tremec TKX, Quartermaster clutch & hydraulic release bearing
New ATL fuel cell bladder + surge tank installed in early 2024
New Fire Safe fire bottle installed in early 2024
Panoz OEM Brembo brakes (Ferrari F40)
Simply massive spares inventory (well over $50k, this was done because the car is raced in US as well & we did not want to miss races due to supply chain issues)
Very comprehensive documentation, digital (>200GB) & physical (>10 binders), that detail all parts/improvement/results/notes/etc.

For those not familiar with the Panoz GTS:
- designed as a spec SCCA GT-2 car (it is NOT a GT-1 car as Panoz designed the car to have low cost of ownership)
- parts are readily available as the Panoz factory still supports the car
- Panoz used Coleman stock car parts through the chassis so availability & prices are very reasonable
- there are many aftermarket firms that supply parts such as body components, etc.
- factory GTS cars used a SB Ford 351W cid engine, many owners have converted cars to Chevy LS
- GTS model has a DOM tube chassis with a Ford 9" full floating rear end (TruTrac diff), Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission & 32 gallon ATL fuel cell
- steering rack is SN95 Mustang
- rear suspension is 4 link with a Watts link mounted at the bottom of the differential
- original weight is 2,685lbs (this car is lighter)

Bottom line; this car is easy to drive, has been exceptionally well cared for, very competitive, low cost of maintenance (if there is such a thing for race cars), with a massive spares inventory & can be sold as a roller &/or with items removed from the car (ie., car has a comprehensive AiM data/video system, Motorola 2 way radio integrated with the AiM system, etc. that ndew owner may not want). The car will not be sold without the spares inventory.

The only maintenance issues coming out of the Mosport event June 16 are a power steering hose end leak & the need to trim more foam away in the fuel cell to better read the fuel level dipstick (new foam with new bladder, did not trim the foam enough when new bladder installed this year). These items are being addressed now.

Motivated to sell as I have 2 vintage road race early Mustangs ready to run!
