- Car is for sale in Canada, prices are CAD. Location is the South Okanagan area of British Columbia. For our American friends that may be interested, multiply the Canadian Peso number listed by 0.68 and you’ll be close to what you’d pay in the mighty USD. I am not the car’s owner but the caretaker and authorized seller.
- Approx 80 hours on original 1500 set up before 1340 conversion then another 20 or so on the first 1340 engine which found the end of its life due to a transmission failure in 2023. The hours are an estimate due to there not being proper documentation for the original engine or the first 1340. The dash was changed with the current engine and the original is long gone. We’re working off of what people remember hour wise so the estimate is based on memories, chassis condition, heims, bushings, bearings, steering rack condition etc. Total hour estimate on car is 130.
- Current owner has had the car since 2019.
- Current engine and GDU were done in August 2023 by Radical Canada West and have 30 hours on them.
- Due to the car starting life as a 1500, it has the 24 volt starting system which is very good for these cars.
- No engine or GDU leaks or current known issues.
- Axles in good condition, no boot issues.
- Car has heating pad on oil reservoir to help keep the “warm up” hours lower.
- All coolers in good shape, radiator, oil and GDU.
- Main Battery new last year and typically stored on a tender, currently in good shape. Second battery for the 24v starting is also good, factory charger is with car and operating.
- Car started life as an Eastern USA car then ended up at Radical Canada West in 2019
- My customer bought car from the dealer and did a hand full of races and practice days, 50 hours over five years, so not heavy usage.
- The car has had its share of “racing incidents” but has always been fixed with factory parts installed by either Radical Canada West or myself.
- Chassis is straight, (meaning not measurably bent but likely bent in its own special way like all of them.) all A-arms, uprights, heims are in good shape. The car takes an alignment perfectly.
- Car has spent the past five years of use at Area 27 which is a very smooth, “easy on cars” track.
- This car is perfect to get your feet wet in a Radical, the car can be driven to 2:02’s at A27 which is on point with any new car.
- Wing stay, elements and end plates are new as of fall 2024.
- Diffuser is in 85% good shape.
- Front splitter is in 70% good shape.
- Body work is in 60% shape, its all there but has cosmetic cracking, rub marks, alignment issues etc as they all get after 100++ hours of use.
- Headlights are in 40% shape, could use new lenses and a re-seal.
- Car has Intrax 3 way dampers all in good shape, no leaks.
- Car comes with a few sway bar options.
- Car comes with two full sets of wheels with a couple bonus spares and rain tires.
- Car was just re-wrapped in BBQ black.
- Car has the full AIM integrated data and video logging system with wide angle lens which is all usable through race Studio.
- Engine oil since 2023 has been Motul 300V 15/50 Changed every 7-10 hours using factory Suzuki Filters.
- GDU oil gets changed after every weekend of use.
- Brake rotors are 1/2 a set of pads old, pads have approx 50% left before replacement is required. For racing we typically replace rotors every two sets of pads but for learning/lapping, this could likely be doubled.
- Brakes get bled very regularly, minimum once per run weekend Motul RBF 660 or 700 used.
- Car is currently set up for Pirelli tires which means lots of Camber up front.
- Lifeline fire system needs a new bottle. We’re waiting for Radical Canada West to get new bottles in stock. Bottle will be replaced by the time the car gets sold or an appropriate discount will be given.
- Shifting compressor, solenoids and actuator are all functioning properly. Compressor recovers in the required amount of time as per Radical manual. System is sealed and currently has no leaks.
- Engine has new throttle body boots.
- There are a few small repairs such as replacing the grille’s for the brake cooling ducts that will be done before the car is sold.
- This deal has the potential to be a full Area 27 membership, car and trailer purchase. One cheque to get you all the track access you’d ever want at a world class facility and one of the quickest road course cars currently in production.
- Trailer can be included in sale for an additional $12K has some built in shelves and a winch to load. Tires are in good shape, brakes and wiring are all in good working order.

READ THIS-READ THIS-READ THIS..! All that said, this is a 2015 race car; like all race cars, this one is mostly racing toward it’s next failure. Old race cars are best for interactive owners who are keen on learning about the car, set-up and maintenance. Someone like me would be happy to look after the car for you but the yearly obligation to keep one of these rotating can be substantial. I offer arrive and drive service for Radical customers. You show up, play with your toy and leave.. I do the rest. If you want a slightly more reliable but not perfectly reliable race car, a new Radical from Radical Canada West at $200K+++ is your best bet.
