I think the time for me to sell my Miata has finally come, I've always told myself I would never sell this one after regrettably selling my 1997 roadster edition NA unless I was buying an Elise. But as they become more and more expensive that dream is slipping away. But I also would love to import a version 5 or 6 STI which is one of the two vehicles I would trade this Miata for the other being a BRZ potentially.
Now onto the car. It's a 2002 blazing yellow special edition. There were only 250 in this colour in Canada. Not only did the 02 SE get the colour but also gets the 6 speed transmission which has new fluids, all new seals and an ACT lightweight flywheel with their heavy duty full face clutch kit.
Also the 02 SE gets the torsen LSD rear diff, black leather interior (in which the driver butt has a tear) aluminum door sill plates and the Bose speakers. The factory radio has been replaced with a double din touchscreen deck. The car is fully loaded with AC, cruise control, power windows and locks as well as abs.
Suspension wise the car is riding on height and damping adjustable jic magic coilovers, the brakes have been replaced on all four corners with Wilwood 4 piston calipers and brake pads with flying Miata adapters and rotors. The rear calipers also include an ebrake which was an expensive option when I fitted the brakes. The car comes with the factory 16" wheels as well as the 15x8 +28 rpf1 wheels wrapped in 205/50r15 Falken azenis rt660.
Performance side of things the car has a cobalt intake and cat back exhaust which had a new magnaflow high flow cat welded in as well as a racing beat header. The car also has a mishimoto aluminum radiator.
Interior has a few tasteful mods as well including a very rare and hard to get yellow stitching, yellow signature nardi steering wheel with a short hub and short nardi adapter. Also has chikara motorsports yellow and black checkered floor mats. The car has both a new black soft top with glass window as well as an OEM colour matched hardtop, both with defrost. The hardtop has a carbon fiber roof Wing.
I used to work at a wrap shop and at that time the car was polished and the entire car from bumper to bumper including all lights and hardtop and then wrapped in a 12-year ceramic coated suntek reaction PPF to protect from rock chips and scratches. The car is also stored indoors all winter under a car cover which will come with the car.
As I'm sure you can tell I absolutely adore this car and I honestly had no plans of selling it but I think I'm ready for a change so it's either sell the car and buy something else or put way too much money into the Miata.
I am looking to get $18,000 with a little bit of wiggle room if you wanted stock wheels only or stock steering wheel or no hardtop (but come on you'd be crazy to buy this without the hardtop)
Yes I know it's expensive, yes I know most people won't understand, yes I know your brother's uncle's dog got one for cheaper but please keep those comments to yourself.
